“Go into all the world and proclaim the Good News to every creature”

More than 160 disciples¹ of Life Community are sent on mission to various cities in Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa and Israel.

They are young people from so many parts of Brazil, but also from other countries of Latin America, Hungary, France and Madagascar. Listening to the Lord’s call, they left their families, their personal plans, their study or the work they did, to devote themselves exclusively to God and to the service of His vineyard.

After a year of intense formation, in which the disciples could have a deeper experience with God and the charism, it is time to leave. Moved by a unique request to witness what they have seen, heard and experienced, these missionaries will proclaim the Good News to the ends of the earth.

“To leave on a mission for me is to announce the love that has reached me and that has made me completely new. I want everyone to know this love, which is God Himself”, says Johanna Mária, 22, a Hungarian, sent on a mission to Fortaleza, Brazil.

“For me, going on a mission means marrying a people, accepting God’s will and living the dream that God has dreamed for me”, says Andreza Marques, 20, a Brazilian, who leaves for a mission in Setubal, Portugal.

Jefferson Freitas, sent to the mission of Guayaquil in Ecuador, says that he leaves moved by the call of God, for the joy of doing His Will and of witnessing His Love to all people.

¹ Discipleship is the period in which the candidate is accepted into the path of formation in the Community. This stage provides for a year of spiritual and vocational deepening in one of our formation houses, after which the disciple is sent on mission to further deepen his experience with the Shalom Charism.
